Demo support?

I’m not sure where I should be asking this but, are we going to have demo support implemented any time soon?
I believe they mentioned something about it on one of the latest dev streams, assuming they’re working on it. The only information I found is this, which is 8 months ago:

It’s a really significant feature that will make moviemaking much more versatile (give us the option to observe through free camera and not just player’s POV etc.) while also making it possible for people with low-end machines and inconsistent fps to create their own videos and content without having to record themselves while playing.

For me personally this is the most anticipated feature, been waiting for it since the moment I started playing. So I really hope it gets implemented for real and doesn’t turn into a myth and postponed for years.

Agree, always wanted to be able to view recordings from other angles such as wolf et!

I don’t think there will be a demo support anytime soon. It’s not an important thing and therefore shouldn’t be a high priority thing
Maybe in the future after the official release but I don’t think it will happen soon. But you can always pray and hope

Yep, I’d love to be able to save demos of good matches and be able to record them after the fact. I don’t have a beastly enough PC to record every game at a good enough quality to use most of the other solutions.

Considering it’s a tool that would literally generate advertising (through frag videos and the likes) I think it’d be pretty foolish for them to totally ignore it until after release. DB with all of the walljumping and stuff is practically made of awesome moments that people would want to capture.

@jnglst ive already spoke to devs about this unfortunately its not very easy to implement in unreal engine 3 but they do want to get it in the game at somepoint  its just on the back burner at the moment because its alot of work.
