I’ve noticed 2 instances were there is a long delay between the event and the corresponding audio:
- merc scream when incapacitated
- picking up objective and corresponding announcement of it
In the merc case it just looks a bit odd and it doesn’t affect gameplay but in regards to the announcement it makes a difference.
For example, in the last objective on Bridge, if I’m defending and hear “they’ve got the objective” I know they are already by the delivery point. The announcement should play the moment they actually pick up the objective.
On Chapel I’ve noticed as attacker on last objective, if I pick up the ‘milk jug’ from the EV and start running towards the furthest entrance/arch under the train, the announcement will only start when I’m close to it.
