… That will definitely make a fuss. Some kind of promod on a free to play, this would probably be a first time ever. Even a third party mod I guess. But on the developer side, and probably even more on the editor side, nowadays, they won’t welcome/allow it as it will split the community between comp players and casuals. So they will have to do server tools for the competitive scene on their own. Which is almost here in fact, stopwatch mode with some minor tweaks should be enough.

Nope, it would not be the first time. ET Pro was / is most used mod on Enemy Territory.

Yes of course, but I meant, recent free to play. Since the release of LoL and f2p orientation of tf2. I guess you understood it well. Times have changed since.
