Decrease objective icon size

(EnderWiggin.DA.) #1

Has anybody found a way to decrease the objective icon sizes or to disable the yellow outlines on stationary objectives? Sometimes when enemy players are standing in front of the objectives I have trouble seeing the enemy players in front of the big icons and I die. I tried seta g_playericonsize 10 but it didn’t do anything that I could discern. It was kind of a long shot anyway.

My related gripe is about scavenge icons. I can’t see **** if there is a pile of corpses in front of my soldier.

agreed!! :]

Yep.

ive made a thread about this problem … player models should always be in front of the visual displays, but my thread has been ignored by the devs :frowning:

yep. I made one of my own.

The objective outlines can be very obstructive as well and whoever decided to make the highlighting on the door on Container City appear around every single hole in it deserves to only be allowed to play the first section of that map over and over.

icons need opacity setting as well.

player icons need to be able to be scaled down, way too chunky and imposing

its like they were designed for the visually impaired

YESYESYES

Make it at least an option on the PC. It’s way too big since I am already close to my monitor. Consoles don’t need it, but PC’s do!

Bingo.

You know what to do, Splash Damage!
