Neat. Ty

(Faraleth) #3

Whelp, you actually beat me to it as I had it ready to go… lol

(LifeupOmega) #4

Removed the mouse sensitivity reduction from the stun effect

THANK. GOD.

(titaniumCrouton) #5

First this…next the dev stream round ups…O_o you’ve got competition.

(wolvie) #6

There was a way to cheat the stun effect. If your mouse had access to a sniper button you could boot up the DPI so you would at least have some sort of better aim. Surprised a lot of Thunders with that trick XD

This literally made anyone affected unable to do shit all.

Wow, I thought that was a feature, not a bug

Again? SD, you are such teasers…

(SteelMailbox) #9

I beat you on the thunder merc role call and announcement and you just made your thread the superior one.
I am still salty cause of it…

EDIT: You got 7 likes for that! 7! WTF! I need 7 likes not you. :’(

I really do question why our forums are even a thing, especially pitched as the “official” forum, when the SD/Warchest forum is so much better for interaction with the people actually making the game. Case and point, the patch notes getting posted and already having a bunch of replies about the changes to Thunder, including a reply from Smooth assuring people that they’ll be monitoring the changes once they’re live. I mean… that’s a touch that this forum could really use at times - but it’s silly to have to dupe/cross-post.

The only reason I even stuck around here and kept posting is because I decided I like you guys before I realised what was going on. Now I’m just a serial lurker over there.

Anyhow! Interesting changes, will see how they play out in a bit!

Funny thing, SD forums were the ones publishing changelogs late few weeks back. Seems like they switched sides.
Jokes aside, I agree. It isn’t the first time this happened.

(triteCherry) #14

7 meters? That’s pretty damn big.

(extraordinaryEmperor) #15

They should really reduce the actual grenade’s CD instead to maybe 12sec. Removing aim sensitivity just means I’d still rather use a fragger nade than the concussion nade. Movement reduction doesn’t mean too much if an enemy can still easily fight back.

You might have super powers to efectively get an ace with a white screen

I’ve been stunned without a white screen before, like COD4’s stun grenade, I could have easily killed an enemy medic who had just run in if I did not have reduced aim speed. And if you have a white screen, what difference does having a decreased aim speed have?
