I’ve pretty much figured out what the death feedback icons look like. I can tell who gets killed by a sub machine gun, who gets killed by a mine, who scores a head shot, etc.
Today I saw something odd, and I think I only noticed it because they were right next to each other.
Someone on my team had just scored a head shot and it looked normal, rifle icon next to head icon with line going through exploded part and a little bullet exiting the wound. Then right under it was a kill I made, rifle icon next to a head, but the head symbol was the one you see when someone makes a kill with the Cortex Bomb.
I’m confused, did I set off an enemy Operative’s Cortex Bomb by scoring a head shot? If so, that is cool and makes Friendly Fire games much more exciting.
