Right. Thanks for clearing that up.

This makes we wonder. (As I’m sort of curious about human psychology) What is the reason/purpose of making a shitpost? I can think of a few reasons, but they might be wrong.

  1. I’m really bored, so I’ll make a shitpost with no purpose, just to have something to do.
  2. I want attention, so I’ll make a shitpost and see if I get a reply.
  3. Hmmm. This forum clearly doesn’t have enough pointless shitposts. Therefor I must make one.
  4. I have something inside of me that I want to express, but I don’t know how, so I just make a random shitpost. (Kind of like when a little boy likes a girl, but doesn’t know how to express that, so he ends up pulling her hair or something.)
  5. I’m feeling really sad/low/unappreciated today, so I’ll make a shitpost and complain about something to make myself feel better.
  6. I want more post counts, but I don’t really have anything to say, so I’ll just make a shitpost.

OK. I am being slightly sarcastic, but I don’t mean to offend. I am genuinely curious why someone would just make a post, which servers no purpose.
