dead body questions

hello guys…
i wish to ask you some questions about “dead body”…maybe somebody can gently reply to me

I) the body model used for death player (totally death , not wounding) is different from the one used when player is alive?

II) another one for undressed death body? (i can only see “UndressedCorpseModel” but nothing more)

If yes i cannot understand where it’s called or built inside source

III) is there any way to let the death body stay on the ground with his natural “falling position” and not always switch with “his face watching the sky” when he is on the floor?

Cause if I apply a different death animation it doesn’t match :confused:

i can only say thx if somebody can explain me something about that

remeber i’m a newbie on this monkey…
but I think the dead model is just an animation thing…since it always have the right body…
about the last stuff…well it’s allready explained…i think…but i’m not sure about this…
anyone who really knows here???

dead(not death) body is called a corpse, do the math

If yes i cannot understand where it’s called or built inside source

That would require someone to code a socalled ragdolls(example: HL2). Or you could create 100 animations with 1000 calculations to determine how a player should fall

undressed model is just : naked.mdm in misc folder :slight_smile:

i got everything working now…but i cannot solve my last problem
maybe another stupid question but:

I) Is possible to setup a delay before “limbo( self, qtrue );” to play the death animation before going to limbo?

…because without “limbo” calling
the body always play “wounded animation” (waiting for revive) after the custom death animation…than after being gibbed it switch to last frame of my custom death animation

…while if i use “limbo” calling, I cannot see animation and it just drop the dead body
