Dead Animation

Hi guys. I have tried to change ETPRO dead animation but i kinda failed. Im trying to change it for moviemaking purposes.

So, what im i lookin for?

I did those 2 screenshots but they are buggy and not smooth.

Is it possible to successfully change them at etpro?

I want to have something like this:

DEATH

enemy_weapon knife, enemy_position infront (created this one… dunno if i can :XD )

both death_machinegun_1
}

enemy_weapon knife, enemy_position behind
{
	both death_rifle_head_2

eventhough it isnt working. Decided to replace body.aninc with FalckonET body.aninc and it actually works but its buggy and the other animations arent working properly (run etc…).

Tried to search for some documentation or litle “mods” at splashdamage forum, but alot of links seems to be dead (since you changed the forum).

Can someone help me / teach me how can i do what i want?

If a player gets killed by a flamethrower / is executed / stabbed from behind?

I stole the idea from falckonet. I would like to “import” to etpro but its not working. Anyway from what i saw at sourcecode, no quarter is also using this (but i never really tested noquater).

Do you have any idea how i could do this? Been looking for you at irc yesterday…

Hmm, my guess:
You have to edit the source to make the animation work.
But ET-Pro hasn’t released the code.

Or you have to replace the normal death animation with the one you want by editing the aninc file.

I think the aninc file is the best idea, but i dont know exactly how to edit the animation or make it smoother…

Do you have some documentation about this? Can you help me?

k got it working without hardcoding so far … depends on which “kills” you wanna looking for … just gimme a short shout … so ill try it at etpro (tested it with etpub) … to be sure … what have you already done … have you created an additional pk3 and so on … ? (sry dont know ya skills)

(… its buggy like hell at etpro … dont know if its my aTi-vc … but whole screens gets a weird shakin’ cant test it atm via third-person-view)

I replaced at etpro pk3… but its the same as create a new pk3 imo… the animations are bugged here but it works sometimes but seems confused with death_gut and death_rifle_head_2 … any idea of to fix it?

just delete the death_gut … cuz the server is rotating (without any order) between both (like vsays)
