Like here. We’re talking about a clunky UI that doesn’t perform consistently across different specs.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news here, my dumpling, but unless the devs know what specs are seeing poor UI performance, they can’t edit their code to better run on those specs.

I’m also sorry to be giving you bad news twice, but…

UI lag is a technical issue, and technical issues have their own forums.

And triply sorry… here’s the extra bad news…

@Eox can we move this to the tech issues forum?

Ah, you all think the menus now are bad, oh boy, you should have seen the loadout card selection screen just after you joined the lobby back in about September 2015, it must have been running a 1fps I swear, they where so unresponsive.

I would classify my PC as “not top of the line but still capable of most new things” (GTX 1060, 16GB RAM - CPU would probably benefit from an update, though), and I agree that some of the menus could be improved performace-wise. Every now and then I don’t even see the merc icons when trying to change my party from the main screen.

I’m under the impression that half of the menu items and buttons think it’s cool to get data from the network. The worst being the buttons to pick/change a merc before a game. Sometimes it takes more than a second before anything visual happens. When I want to swap all three mercs I can barely make it in time due to all the waiting involved.

Back in the days of closed beta it used to be even worse though. Basically the game was “validating your account” again and again after pretty much any button press.
