It’s 2:33 am here where I live and the cups just finished.
I wanna say that I’m happy that there’s events like these but seriously, everything that could go wrong on broadcast went wrong today :dizzy:

What was that controversy in the final all about? Why did one of the finalists pull out after the first map?

It was very confusing, but as far as I understood right there was multiple problems which caused them to quit.

  1. They basically played 9 minutes for nothing because of admin/referee fuck up
  2. It was getting too late (because of multiple reasons too)
  3. Some of the players got pissed since first round was declared tie at first but then changed for the victory for BzNs (after that they quitted)
  4. They (DRKJS) just got tired because of all the fuck ups during the day

Somebody can feel free to correct me if I understood the situation wrong, it was veery very confusing (and I was tired as fuck when all this happened :smiley: )

Was nice to give casting a go once again. It is a shame the rules are inconsistent with the game. I understand where both admins and draakjes were coming from but at the end of the day it was the viewers who lost out overall :confounded:

I’m more interested in the actual games than the drama surrounding them, hopefully they will be uploaded…

Yeah, I was given 23 minutes warning to do a stream for the game as they had no one capable of doing so. I was a bit reluctant to go ahead and do so at first but after a bit of thought knowing there would bee around 200 people wanting to watch I thought I would go ahead and do it!

I can only talk on behalf of the cast and stream as I am not in any way affiliated with dbn. I would love to get back into casting but I think it’d have to be on my terms. Not knowing until 23 minutes before was not ideal.

Note to teams: If you want to get a cup going and need a caster do so but let me know!
