It will help bring Australia and Asia to the US region as it’s a much more central location, and it means we could probably even play in some competitions.
My ping to US East = 210-220ms
My ping to US West = 130ms
Australia ping to US East = 280ms
Australia ping to US West = 160-170ms

You could try checking with Raz on Mon. 
I remember some one asking Raz about servers for their clan but I can not remember who it was exactly or what Raz even said. Maybe TAW but I honestly don’t know. Hope you get something moving.
DBN has not requested West servers, so it’s up to them whether they want them or not.

I would ask, but when I signed up to their forums I was never sent a confirmation email and despite trying to contact them about it I never received a response (this was quite some time ago, maybe 9 months or so)

Cheers @-BigRed. It isn’t just about our ping though, but I do think it could help bring Oceania into some competitions, which we really need since they don’t run Aus/Asia competitions any more.
There’s a few teams over here who are keen to play in comps.
I dont know why your wanting more man. the US west servers are find for the US west and east places. in fact there are FAR to many until the weekends hit or happy hour. sounds more like you have just a bad connection or are going though some surveillance in a country that monitors your connection though. plus for me in California the west servers ill get any where from US west 15 to 30 ping. US east 85 to 95.
I live in New Zealand dude. The reason I’m asking if it’s possible is because New Zealand, Australia and all of Asia can’t play in competitions with US guys because our ping to US East is bad and they don’t run competitions for our region any more.
Personally I can play on US East, but guys living in Western Australian can’t as they ping over 300 to US East.
Our ping to US West is perfectly playable though. It would help bring out community into their already existing community, I think. It’s worth a shot any way.
I think it can’t hurt to try. Trying to strengthen the more competitive/more skill focused part of the community in different areas can help strengthen the community as a whole. Plus showing additional interest can help to cause certain Nexon and Splash Damage employees to start thinking. It can also raise morale across the board. What is there really to lose?
While on the topic, is there any way we can drop a couple of pub servers for an extra DBN server or two? Particularly the Asian region. We seem to cope fine with one Australian server but later on in the evening when the Australians want to keep playing but the Asians are playing, their DBN server is packed out with 16/16 and a few others trying to join the game, like us right now.
At the moment the Asia DBN server is 16/16 and we have two teams of 5 who are trying to play a custom but no server available lol.
Wait I just re-read this. I realised you’re talking about pub. This topic is referring to DBN private servers dude. The 5v5 ones with friendly fire on. There is no US West ones.
