DB in US East is Nearly Unplayable

CMM isn’t working. At least not in US East. I’ve been searching for a match for half an hour, it’s paired me 5 times and every time it cuts out before the match starts. Either I get sent back to the main menu as the intro cutscenes play, or it takes me out of the pre-game lobby even after everyone is found. I have yet to play a full match of CMM. @stayfreshshoe can you take a look at this please?

I’ve never had that issue before and can usually get lobbys with the first few minutes.

Same problem here just not as severe. I haven’t managed to land in a single US east server even though it’s where I live. I’m always getting stuck in SA or European servers like London, and Frankfurt

This is a little off-topic, but CMM has tons of problems, but that wouldn’t be so bad if it was at least playable. There’s no option to choose your subregion, like U.S. East or U.S. West. So I can either get on a server with 20-60 ping or one with 80+ and those that are 80+ are fairly unplayable. Anything over 100 is just a no-go, way too much teleporting and lag. It’s bad enough this problem exists in ranked, but now we’re stuck with shitty CMM and no other way to play Obj. What’s worse is that it doesn’t choose the server based on everyone’s location either, like it says it does. I consistently land on U.S. West servers in both Ranked and CMM although the majority of the lobby lives in U.S. East or far from the West servers. I’ve been in countless matches where nearly everyone is stuck with a ping of 80+.

Anyways, I did manage to get into one U.S. East server, but only one so far.

I usually get in in about 2 minutes or so on US East.

I have noticed however that rarely it will just completely freeze while searching. The process itself doesn’t seem to stop responding, and I’m able to tab out and back into the game… but the searching for match timer freezes and none of the in game buttons work… had it happen multiple times now. :frowning:

how about when you got into a game in US east tell people that many players will play at XX:XX o’clock, make invitation and stuff

thats how i get 50+ people play at the same time after work hours

No, they just need to fix CMM. For how long it took to release, it’s really not working that well. But I really want it to work well. Once it does, it’ll be amazing.

I have the problem where I only get US East servers instead of US West servers. I wish they would let us place a ping limit in the search so I don’t end up having to play US East.
