DB challenges

Anyone have any good challenges for DB? Here’s a few that sound fun:

  • Bind S to suicide
  • Invert every single control possible
  • Absolute lowest possible settings (including FoV and sensitivity sliders, etc) with a config
  • McCree challenge - thunder, but with no sprint and his grenade and revolver only

EV Warp Challenge

Escort the EV and at the same time get as many kills as you can while teleporting everywhere.

  • As Aimee, get more support XP than the best medic on the server. This is actually easy. Games without medic (as they are common these days) don’t count, though.
  • Top score as Aura without a single kill. Never tried it but should be doable fairly easy with 2 Rhinos or some such.
  • Top score as Aimee without a single kill. Working on this one.

Top score as Rhino with no kills, every time you do get a kill you also have to longspawn yourself.

Honestly I’ve done that a couple times before, lol. Pretty easy when your team sucks, and it’s not like aura is great at getting XP from combat

Blind love:
Concuss and kill 4 different medics in a single match or round.

Play Proxy and only throw mines and shoot them for kills for a whole match without getting cancer

Don’t forget those Assist XP - simply spray a group of enemies and let your team reap those juicy points for you.

Not sure if it counts since I did get kills, but you can take out all my combat xp and it’s still topscore. I’m officially a proud Aimee main now

Hard to say, because you also have badge XP that comes from your kill and streak badges, not shown.

3541+650 = 4191

So you have 2,000 badge XP boosting your score too.

  • An actual Guardian : Enter a server with multiple low levels and try to save as many of them from Airstrikes,Grenades,Rockets,etc. Also try to top score.
  • Rocket jumping gone wrong : Pick Javelin and attempt to kill every enemy merc you see only using the rocket launcher while also aiming down and jumping at the same time.

  • Signing a divorce : Pick any medic you have and enter a match as a pacifist, don’t kill anyone, just heal and revive, if you see an enemy Thunder, try to kill him as much as possibile, don’t even think about touching other mercs, if you see a Thunder, KILL HIM! Also try to top score and teabag his corpse as much as possible, just to apply salt to the wounds.
  • A hitman at work : Play as any Recon (except Phantom) and choose an enemy merc as your death mark, then attempt to get high score by only killing that certain merc, no support XP, no Objective XP, just pure combat XP.

Hmmm… I forgot about that.
But I guess that not all combat xp is kills as there are also assists and finishes. But meh whatever, I’m proud of myself for achieving this so for me it counts

Fun idea … but deep down I feel that these challenges are so dignifying and contribute to the game the same as an inexperienced sniper or 3 recons on your team.

Just yesterday I played beside a OnlyPistolThunder, he ruined 3 maps in a row for us, his excuse: “I got more kills than anyone on the team” (most of them were stolen kills)… kills are not enough (they should know by now that DB is not about kills or levels), he wasnt healing/reviving, giving ammo, repairing/disabling/escorting, just running arround the map and contributing the same as a rookie.

I expected more common/battle sense from a high level (he is (?) an experienced player)

Yeah I’m not saying you DIDN’T top score if you hadn’t gotten kills, but without looking at your earned badges to see how much xp the kill/kill-streak specific ones gave you, it’s hard to confirm! Still a good job in any case.

Eh, it’s not like people doing challenges are common. I’ve only done 1, and only seen like 2 people doing others in total. As long as it’s in casual it’s not like its a big deal, since those matches are rarely filled with nothing but competent players anyways.

3 rounds of it in the same server is pretty bad though

Don’t take it bad, but creating a thread about challenges it’s foment those practices, 1 will become 2, and then 3, and so on.

As I said, dont take it bad, I just don’t like to see people spoiling the fun that way for the rest of us.

install this and topscore while playing with a controller. no aura allowed, she gets too much exp for too little player input.
