I was referring specifically to the OP using personal stats as a reference, which I disagree with. We all know spook just wants to see his name on the top of a stat chart, but that’s not really relevant to anyone else. If we want to judge skill gaps or personal stats, then we can all play pugs (until MM) and make judgements from there. As for abilities, they have skewed the regular performance of players as the usual crutches have gotten worse as a result. I wouldn’t say that they dominate over gun play, but they aren’t very fitting to the game in the current state. I don’t think the game is better now either, simply because it’s either extremely minor tweaks or half-baked experiments. The ability buff is completely awful by itself, which is why I don’t think they should even bother trying to refine small values until they can implement a better overall system or meta.
i kinda agree, that stats is only stats when its big. you cant go ‘well, according to statistics…’ when like 20 same ppl playing on pubs with very different skill tier, with the error summarize from different mercs used - someone just testing sniper, some is desperately playing obj, some are just back raping noobs.
in order to point out the accuracy you can only have BIG stats from like thousands of players.
OR if we think only 20-30 players, then we need a smal duel map with no objs and only shooting.

Freze is odd but if you get 3 good players vs 3 good players he is right around the same as everyone… Plus my lag helps me kill him haha!! He is one of thee only people that I feel like I get hit like a ton of bricks with the first few shots… 1 second into the fight I am at 10% HP!!! And I have only hit him once!
Dieing to people you cant see is the craziest thing right now… My head is always on a swivel and I feel I have very good awareness of what is around me so when I die out of the blue I want to smash my keyboard!!! I am not sure if it has to do with ping or what but this happens a lot…
Something is odd about the spread now that is for sure… Tracking after the first burst doesnt feel right… A simple shot like side raging is now very complex… Not to mention you are forced to side body rage rather then go for the head because of recoil and random horizontal recoil now…
The small maps have a great deal to do with everything… Previous patches you could run into a small space with 2 enemys and have a chance to kill both… Now you see 2 enemy’s you are boned! You are even lucky to get one now… Just hold down the trigger and foot rage vs me going for the heads and still getting rolled…
The Blood, hit reg feed, animation of recoil, spread scale and others still need to be looked at…
DB = Small Map, fast mercs, High ROF, High Spam and Fast Deaths at Close Range with Horrible Servers and weird deaths at Far range because your crosshair is bouncing all over the place…
Anyway we can talk about this until we are blue in the face… Smooth says the same stuff over and over especially when I ask for stats… They appear close to the previous patch… True but the feel SUCKS! haha
I note my SPM from this patch to the last patch… I am DOWN 128 SPM!!!

This is sooo true… Something needs to change… I am not one of the top players around here, but I still have some skill from years of clanbase competitive play… I also think the game now feels way worse then it did tbh… In a 1vs1 I am realy focussing on my tracking and still dying leaving me with the feeling "how the &%@#€ did that happen? I think it has to do with spread settings aswell… Now you just spray and hope you are making the hits… In a 1vs2 situation 95% of the time you’ll be in spec, thinking about what went wrong in stead of ‘oh well got outaimed’ it just sucks… I also feel that the cursor makes weird and unpredictable moves at long range… And I don’t use ADS…
In my oppinion the weapons need to be more accurate with more predictable movent of recoil… Let the weapons deal less damage in return… This will give us the rewarding feel of making the hits together with longer gunfigjts… It is worth a try in a next update…
(PS: I do not crash anymore after reinstall so that was just personal problem)

Phoenix’s default SMG is what you’re asking for. I have no issues compensating recoil or dealing with viewkick, etc, but you’ll just need to learn to switch to ADS at certain distances. The FOV is the most awkward part if anything, which is why I’ve modded my cfg to use the old FOV scaling instead.

Remember Stopwatch spawn times went up 10s, so you’re spending (on average) 5s more time dead each time.

I will try to make this fast and not go on and on about random crap like I do haha.
Inferno said I am a stat hor and that maybe fair but I use stats for much more. I have a few numbers in my head that I think I am capable of producing. I research, try and feel out all of the guns to see which ones fit me or are the most OP… I then use those guns to death in pubs so I can transition that muscle memory to a gather or comp event.
My intention of this thread was to point out something was different and discuss. Yes, my forum methods are a little sloppy but I have all the best intentions when bring up a topic, asking for stats and saying this patch feels odd!
With that said I will conclude by saying I think a lot of my QQ’ing have been do to Euro Region play… Pix pointed out that some or a lot of issues maybe solved by players playing within their region… I think that this statement is most accurate with this patch. The frustrations, delays and warping that I am getting while playing on a euro server with 120 - 180 ping is putting a sour taste in my mouth and it has me questioning the game rather then connection. Very few times have I got the crisp solid tracking hit sound of all my bullets hitting… Very few times have I got 1 or 2 insta kills… Very few times have I ben satisfied with my play… Is the patch to blame? After the last two or three days of playing I do not think so anymore… I think its the constant high ping play… In a nut shell I will post and say everything with a grain of salt because my feedback is tarnished by ping…

As someone in around the mid-level I guess (k/d fluctuates around 1.2, w/l around 1.5) I haven’t found much difference from the last patch. Certain players I will always die to (Freze the backrager who does the ducking thing but manages to kill you in 0.1s) and I have frame lag issues esp. on Bridge for some reason, my k/d tends to depend on how stacked the teams are - I’ll get a decent k/d unless the teams are stacked then will get raped bringing the average crashing down again
whereas the high-level players will survive (or be causing) the rape. Currently I’m playing Elite: Dangerous and having a lot more fun / less stress though its getting a bit repetitive.
The game does seem to rely more on corner-camping, ADS - neither things I particularly enjoy doing or having to deal with.
Out of town atm and am not able to verify exactly which one, but adding it to your existing binds for bloomsize, etc… will do the trick.
Playing lately looks and feels like I am looking through a dirt lens… At over 300 frames and 144hz monitor I have no idea how this is happening… My ping does swing very wildly while playing anywhere from 120 to 180…
I think the servers need to be looked at…
