Dark Non-Transparent Water

Im looking to create some water that looks dark but without transparency. The player will die before he gets a chance to swim and i am also trying to save on polys and dont want to show under the water.

Any help will be Good.

try making the water brush out of sea_bright_na which(I belive has not shader) and making it a trigger_hurt by right-clicking it in the 2d view and selecting trigger_hurt.

If the texure you apply has no shader - it will not look like a liquid and instead either look like a floor - or a very baddly applied texture

You could try getting something like the base texture for siwa_water, applying a filter through an image app to make it darker - then save it in your own folder and make simple water shader missing the transparency value

Take an existing water/liquid shader and modify it so that its solid and also remove any alpha channel that the texture may have. For all shader goodness either check the shader manual with SDRadiant or this link: http://woekitten.org/misc/
