Why do you say that? I’m pretty sure he posted it so Splash Damage is aware and more people cannot exploit the bug. It’s a good thing. He’s not bragging.

By posting how to do it, it lets more people (who may not have known) exploit the glitch.

Could have been posted like… “Theres a gltich that allows lights to use heavy weapons”

Still, I kind of agree that the message should have been PM’d. It could take a week or more for the patch to fix this, and during that time the more people who know about it the less fun the game’s going to be.

Let’s hope I’m wrong and SD get on it asap! You never know, it could already be known and shipping with tomorrow’s patch!

How does a game that was 3 years in the making with an emphasis on competitive multi-player let a bug like this go through on release?

It’s becoming more and more obvious the game wasn’t tested enough.

I have to say, this seems typically a bug that should’ve been caught by production testing. All the performance issues are understandable, the bots were an admirable misjudgement, but things like these are really coarse.
