custom texture black in wolfenstein et

Hi everyone.

I am trying to make my own textures from photos.
I put them inside a pk3 and put it into etmain.
It works fine in gtkradiant but when i play the map, it is black? (see attachment)
Can anyone help me?

Did you use the right surface configuration? (button S)
Is texture with right resolution (64, 128, 256, 512, 1024 x 64, 128 etc.) and jpg or tga extension?
Do you use shader?

no i didn’t use the surface inspector and i don’t think my texture is 64 X 64 etc.
i will make it 512 X 512.
and what do i have to do after i press S and the surface inspector comes up?

You mustn’t do anything with surface inspector - seems that the size is your problem.
Surface inspector is for texture rotating, resizing etc.

Yes, i have changed the size and it has worked a treat!
