for my mod i want to change some of the ingame sounds.
not the weapons and so on, but the menu sounds.
as an example:
sound/music/menu_server.wav
so this sound file is in PCM 22,050 kHz; 16 Bit; Stereo
so i replaced that file with my sound.
i also changed the sound in PCM 22,050 kHz; 16 Bit; Stereo
but nothing happend, in the game (in the menu) the isn’t playing.
so i’ve searched in some forums about it, and i found posts like, it must be 8 Bit - Stereo; 16 bit - Mono; and so on.
so i’ve tried everything of this settings, but always the same… no sound is playing in game.
so, can anyone help me and say, what are the right settings?

only the download-sound-file has the wrong name to work correct, in the game i use the correct
