Hi!
You can make strange shaped objects in the editor with the clip tool.
Make a box, preferably of caulk. 2) Hit “x” (to select the clip tool) and make two points in the 2D window. The line between the two points is the cut to come. 3) Then hit Ctrl + Return. The box has been clipped. If the object is still selected, you may hit Ctrl + Return again. Woa! Now you have the same cut, but the “other part” of the box has been cut away. If you like what you see, then you hit Return again. Not Ctrl, just Return! When you do that, you will have a permanent cut. 4) Make several boxes and cut them into the right shapes. 5) Assemble these and make an object that looks like the original design drawing you made above.
At last, apply texture. (Tip: SHIFT + Ctrl + left-click, to select just 1 face of a brush.)
Clipping is cool.
You can also make 3d objects in other ways, but I’m affraid I don’t know enough about that.
Good luck with “x”!
