custom map stupidity

I downloaded CTF, and whenever I try to join a CTF server it starts downloading the map automatically (even though I already have it and I have sv_pure on), and then I get disconnected because the download is abominally slow.

does anyone know what kind of pathing nonsense is causing this?

now I get an error that says “mp_sillyctf.pk3 missing (local file exists with wrong checksum)”

Were 2 different versions of this map released? It sounds like you have a different .pk3 file than the server.

Yes. Two versions kicking around, one beta one final, same filename used for both I believe :weird:

Hardly the map makers fault that someone is distributing a BETA version :bash:

Just delete the pk3 file of the version you have, and dl it again.
