Ashog requested this initially, so thanks to susefreak for setting it up. It’s a one time event for now, let’s do it at 16:00 fex - just pick a time that fits for you susefreak.
I don’t quite understand all the bitching against TAW, unlike most other players they play custom a lot, with fully organized teams, and give valuable feedback to the mappers. I was lucky enough to be invited to a couple of their 12 vs 12 matches, and it was fantastic to watch - haven’t seen that on normal Nirvana for a year…

- Playing duel maps with shitloads of people is stupid, QL is here for this, and it’s free.
- If you knew ashog a bit you wouldn’t listen to his advise, NEVAR !
- We (the community) are still wondering why nirvana is now sponsored by TAW, no offence in there, we are just wondering why.

Maybe it’ll be nice to have a KOTH (King of the Hill) in here, just for the bragging rights.
Person who gets the most kills (teamkills not included) on a map is named KOTH for that particular map.

It’s going to be a week later, so 31st of January.
How would you like to see it? 1v1 with spec’s on a TV server and a maybe shoutcast? or more like 5v5 play?

Depends per map I think, some of them are a bit big for 1v1, others are way too small for anything but 1v1. CTF is not really suitable for 1v1 in general imo.
For shoutcasting to be of any use you’ll need to set up some sort of tournament I think, which includes premade teams if you want to do something over 1v1. Depends on how much work you want to put into it.
Don’t do it for me though, I should not be there next week, exams n stuff you know.

Naive kid. Noone was proposing you to play that. The idea was to have them as a separate votable campaign not in the rotation so that we could play it to start Nirvana when there’s 2-4 people for an hour or more. What’s the problem of having this? The number of maps per download is anyway overcome so one has to connect 2 times to get all maps.
Oh, and you are not a community, you are a bitching whining kid, that’s what you are. You don’t seem to understand neither polite language, nor rude language, so I am not sure what your problem is. That kind of behaviour is abnormal even for your age. Not that I care much…
Again, this was just a suggestion to have all possible things to do in one server and votable when we want. If it’s not a good idea, then say it constructively, rather than bitch around.

Should do TAW vs Nirvana Old Timers (non TAW custom regulars) on selection of proper maps with shoutcast and stuff on TV server and get Crazy Don to make video of the best bits afterwards.
8v8 would be realistic target and maybe more another time if it turns out any good.
Regarding smaller maps, remember all kiddies voting sky all time before when single map voting was allowed?
