Ok here it is I hope this explains a few things. There are some more things in it but this is it bassicly

THe map isnt so big BTW the wholl map is 2048x2048

The point of the map is to train ur skillz :banana:

Actually, that is much more useful.

I would put more cover in the middle, otherwise you’re going to get respawns shooting panzers directly at the other side’s spawns. If you add cover in the middle, which blocks line of sight, it makes people hunt a little more. Combine your two tunnel systems into a single T-shaped (w/bends) to focus a little more action into them.

Ok ill explain a little .
The point of the map is to play as fieldops or something like that not with a panzer :banana:

Ive played the map with a friend and we had a little 1on1 fight and it was fun.

And for the tunnel (Its kinda hard to explain).
It was my intention that there wasn’t much action in them.
There are a few windows in there which cant be shot! So if u see eachother run in the tunnel u cant shoot eachother. Its more a thing to piss eachother off a little. :beer:
And the tunnel is the only way to the building in the middle coz there aint doors att he bottom. ( U can jump from the top of the spawn but its kinda hard for ppl who dont know strafe jump).

But if U think this isn’t improving the gameplay of them i like to here it! :bump:

its like a light.

when its foggy and you look at a bright light, it dosnt look that bright cos of fog but it has this shimmering effect, coronas make that, you can colour them too :wink:

Jep i found that out just a sec ago :banana:

but i placed de corona just under the light but in game the corona was way lower then in Radiant somebody knows how this comes?

EDIT: WHoops it was far below the light my mistake^^

Bear in mind many people turn them off though (like particles) because nice though they are, they obscure visibility.
doesn’t mean you should automatically ignore them, but…

From the silly_ctf readme :

The map file is included in the package, I hope someone might learn something from it. Observe! I do not want to see any work based on this map, I distribute the map file for all those new mappers out there, not so you can take the easy way and steal it from me.

So there is the map file.
Now on to no based work, by no based are u forbidding the use of yer custom CM , or based as meaning actual brush work, or the CTF gametype in genral?? As this statement is true with me

So is there a .map file in it or isnt there I need to know^^

If there is I only need to see how the Objective is meant to be put in and hwo the script is put together.
I really dont know shit bout scripting so if there is a .map file with scipt It would be really helpfull

OK i found it I downloaded the .rar but it isnt in there (sillyctf_ett.pk3)
And i Downloaden the .zip now and there it was :banana:

Ok i took a look at the .map And i stilldotn get it^^(man this is hard)

Owh yeah i need to know a other thing!
How do i make a barbedwire “strip” and how do i make it so that you will get damage when u walk on to it?

The only thing I meant with it is that you don’t take my map, add a thing or two, re-release it and call it yours. More or less what happened in the case above. Besides that, you can use whatever you want from the pk3, scripts, textures etc. Just remember me in the readme. :slight_smile:
