Crossposting: Q3A Electronics - A reference of thoughts

This is just a silly crosspost to a thread in the Quake3world forums

I have written a guide about electronic gates in Quake3Arena, which make
the building of logical routing of signals possible and I guess it will be interesting for people here in this forum, being the more ore less techies of mapping

Most recently I also added an electronic FlipFlop (a one bit storage), which
you wont find in the guide, but in its files atm

Link: http://www.skore.de/Q3A_Electronics_skOre.zip

Crappy workaround html-version: Http://www.skore.de/documents/q3aelectronics/q3a_electronics.html

The zip file includes the .pdf document and two examples for you to check out and moan about.
The mentioned electronic gates will be unpacked in a seperated ‘electronics’ folder in your ‘maps’ directory.

Please consider that this is more a beta than a real guide, and that I
would love to hear peoples comments about it

Very nice!! I just had the intoduction into this in university and now I have a way cooler application then the usual electronics- I’m more into mapping anyway  If I ever get a made utilizing thise to the stage of being showable I’ll post you some pics… Sure does sound like the TDM/CTF wars just became one step more difficult… But didn’t they say anyway that you needed more tactic for them than normal

Hell yeah !
Pound in some nice cooperative tasks and triple the gameplay !

Email me about what comes out of it, I am always excited to see what people do with my knowledge !
