Shoe confirmed any active boosters will be converted to 1k credits per hour remaining, rounded up.

Any in your inventory, unactivated, will convert.

However they want to do it, no skin off my posterior.

TBH, the only boosters I ever had were drops. Never saw the sense in buying them as there wasn’t ever a overtly tangible benefit in using them due to the overall credit earn rate was so low. Missions were my primary credit source. Now that they’re going to contracts, my enthusiasm for grinding is greatly diminished.

Only.time imo the boosters are worth it is when you can stack one of them on top of boosted credit weekends

I don’t really care about boosters, but the new earn rates are equivalent to, if not better than the current setup so I guess it’s fine.

Can only assume the change is being made not because it’s something the playerbase wants, but rather because it’s something SD thinks will help with player retention and/or player engagement.

I really hate things that count down while you’re not in game, but I can see their reasoning behind it. Get more people in game and all

Same

They do this so people buy more boosters. An 18hr booster would last me months because I dont play that regulary. With the new system that wouldnt be the case.

They said its about balancing stuff and “keeping you playing” or something, but they just want to increse revenue.

When I started playing DB and a saw the boosters in the shop that were only used during play time I thought “Wow, what a cool developer that respects players’ preference on how they use their time and does not nudge them into overplaying the game.”

Not so much anymore, I guess.

Never bought boosters, probably never will.

Still have plenty of dropped boosters left.

The only time I used them were occasionally during ranked seasons when they combined with the boost of ranked matches and I was short on credits (after a crafting week end or some such).

I do understand though why SD’s business decisions utilize abusive psychological mechanism to increase play time - like many other companies already do. Still I liked the old SD more that treated players with respect.

To SD’s credit the migration of old boosters to new ones ssems more than fair.
