Credit boost for being MVP?
What are you asking? Is there one? No. Should there be one? Not in my opinion, since it encourages selfish play.
I’m saying there should be one.
And how does it encourage selfish play? the best way to raise your score is support abilities and playing the objective it seems.
The moment you add incentive for scoring first, you open the door to people worrying more about their scores than the objective. Just an opinon, of course, but I very much like that there is equal reward for playing the game. Winning is it’s own reward.

Me? I have never played as phantom.
Well i don’t see any issue. Top fragger and support should have like 50-100gold boost
I’d like it if they different types of MVP rewards.
Slayer - Most kills on the team
Lifesaver - Most Revives/Heals on the team
Greasemonkey - Most Repairs/Defuses/Plants
You know, stuff like that, that adds extra credits, just to reward people for kicking ass and doing their job.
That wouldn’t be terrible as it would still encourage people to play the game in all ways.

Stock Boy - most ammo distributed among teammates.
Destroyer - most damage done to EV. Or not…
Actually, there should just be one reward for all Support XP. Field Ops would be clumped into the Lifesaver category, renamed of course.
in ET QW we had these sorts of rewards and awards and ranks etc etc
unfortunately some people dont see them as just a bonus extra and something fun to also having going on while you play the game. Oh no for some people it is all about the achievements and the game can go hang.
You would see these people off in a remote location on the map not doing the obj or interacting with their team at all. When confronted they would be “oh i just need to throw this knife at that thing another 1000 times to get this award dont mind me”. OR something silly like that which of course detracted from what is a team based game that needs everyone on deck and helping out
so id say prob best not to have them in
Isn’t a MVP some one who spend some money on the game in some point of time?
Edit: Oh, I confused it with that thing in the starwars mmorpg and Turbine games.
The thing is the MVP in any given game is not necessarily on top of the Charts. The MVP is the Proxy that managed the stealth EMP delivery. The MVP is the Bushwhacker who clutch defused the last C4 at Overtime earning himself a mission possible badge. Or likewise the MVP is the medic that revived said Bushhwacker 4 times in a row. Heck it might even be the Fragger who managed a full wipe with one Fragnade enabling an easy EV push/plant.
Or to put it like that the MVP is the guy, that ensured that at the end it say WIN instead of LOST.
That said if you want to do something like that, I would like to see a mix of ghost recon and blacklight. i.e. At the end showing either the whole winning team or the 3 Mercs that respectively scored the highest Combat / Game / Support XP striking a winning pose.

What if you’re playing fragger and your team needs another medic? If you switch you lose your shot at top kills and be behind the person who was already playing medic for revives. If you don’t switch it is also in your best interest not to push the ev, revive teammates, disarm c4, etc as it wastes time you could be using for headhunting. Instead of sticking with the objective carrier to block bullets and defend them from one enemy you’re better off chucking grenades into the enemy spawn.
Basically, it rewards people for focusing on a single role instead of adapting as the situation demands.

If you’re doing your job you prob won’t need to switch roles. So that’s kind of a nitpick, besides your score will go up anyhow regardless.
If you really wanna make it more specific, you could have it like this.
Most kills (or combat xp)
Most support points
Most game mode points (objective xp)
If it would be a 50% Credit boost i guess i wouldn’t mind.
I mean winning should have a reward. Currently i don’t think winning or losing is a big difference? besides the XP for winning.

Nah, not really, just think about the engineer repairing the ev on tthe chapel or bridge attack? Staying engineer to get the stuff in/out as best solution? Rly?
