crazy radiant error.. help!

(Digm) #1

I just spent all day constucting an underground tunnel…

I made it in a seperate file for ease and testing… and everything was peachy keen.

Now I try to import it into my actual map, and once I do I get serious probs…

It seems to import ok - I can see it in the 3d view. But once I click on any of the 2d windows, I get these errors and it quits…

I know this isn’t level editing per se, but I’m hoping someone else have had the same problem…

Could it be that the combined map and tunnel have too many brushes for Radient to handle?

That’s what I was thinking too. You’re trying to import the tunnel into your map as a prefab? How extensive are your tunnels?

What is tickling my curiosity is the second error box saying: “A tag named: “black_foreground” is already in the tag table.” I’m just stabbing in the dark but check the map in its stand-alone version to make sure there are no duplicates etc.

I actually don’t know how the import works but maybe it’s expecting a worldspawn or maybe it’s NOT expecting it if there’s one…

Just throwing ideas…

no, its taking brushes from the map, the worldspawn will have nothing to do with it
