Crates will get boring

The issue with the Loadout system this game has implemented is the high possibility for “the perfect loadout(s)” to happen. There’s also a ton of temptation for this if the devs make the only way to get keys is by purchasing them with real money. A good incentive to make people buy keys is all around better rewards.

I would like to see this be more a part of the in game economy than purely part of the real world one. Such as the ability to purchase keys with in game currency as well as out of game currency. Trading loadouts in game and/or selling them in game would also be interesting to see. This, along with the ability to purchase in game currency could work well, as long as the developers don’t make it take too long to get enough cash to buy something organicly.

Right now the only thing you can buy with in game cash is mercs and they are reasonably priced, once you buy them all though, there doesn’t seem to be any purpose to in game cash, unless I’m missing something.

I’m just as sceptical as you seem to be with the economy appear to be in this game. I really don’t see where they are going to find money in the game right now. Mercs are somehow too cheap in in-game currency to even think about buying one with real money.

I really hope they will find a good balance to keep the game attractive to free players. Buying a premium/boost account for limited terms is something generally interesting if people want to increase their drop chances. I also hope they will sell some cool well priced skins, pretty much the LoL’s way (as long as they don’t crush the overall graphic spirit of the game of course).

If they all leave it to the players, trading is to me the biggest mistake they could possibly make. CS:GO economy is way inflated due to the enormously high number of players and the hype valve achieve to generate with weapon skins (for their own profit mainly). Honestly, how can you possibly buy an awp skin for 40 bucks ? (Not to mention that skins were free in the past cs games). Just to give you an idea, check how the currency lowered recently in TF2 and you might understand why it is a retarded system. And don’t forget that valve will take its share if nexon wants to use steam market.
