I’m curious as to how they work behind the scenes, are they just a random drop percentage?
Are they limited to a maximum per time period (I.e: 7/week)
Do they only drop from completing the missions?
and last but not least does earning more experience lead to more likelyhood of them dropping?
The last question is really what I wanna talk about. The game is clearly team focussed, more so than others who claim they are like team fortress 2 (which isn’t team focussed unless you play competitive) So really I sort of want to make a suggestion.
Not to increase the drop-rate of the normal crates but rather to have “Team-crates” so to speak, the more team-exp (could be a behind the scenes exp that doesn’t level us up) one gets the more chance of a team-crate to drop. Say every 100 t-xp = 1% drop chance. These would yield skins or something like that to indicate a person is particularly team oriented or something akin to that. That exp could be earned by playing the objective, covering people who are playing it (I.e covering the person carrying the EMP) healing/throwing ammo at others (support exp) etc
I’m no game dev and I have no clue how hard this’d be to implement nor if it’s even a good idea but I figured I can at least post it here and let the community tear me a new rectum with harsh comments, insults and well that usual stuff I always get when I post on forums ^.^ don’t go easy on me though I’m used to it.
P.s. I don’t wanna know the drop mechanics to “game them” I’m just a curious kind of guy who likes knowing that sort of useless information, I won’t complain if I get no information about it either, my curiosity about it’ll pass within a couple of days.
