Crash... randomly...

I bought this game last Friday, and I’ve only played it for about 5 hours TOTAL, according to steam. Why haven’t I played it for longer than that? Well because every single mission comes with it’s own disappointing crash. There’s nothing I could find here for my specific problem. My crash is the one that happens randomly, in all my missions, online/offline, and did I mention that it happens randomly? Basically, the game freezes and the program ceases to respond. There is not error report, the whole thing just crashes, and you have to force the program to shut down. I’ve looked around elsewhere, and they said to run the game as administrator. I’ve changed my UAC settings to never notify, restarted my computer, and have run the game on administrator; this resulted in a random crash, AGAIN, and just as I was about to complete the mission. GETTING PISSED OFF… IM SURE OTHER PEOPLE ARE TOO.

-Not playing Brink till this is fixed.

PS: I understand that games have bugs close to release dates, but random crashes that just make it impossible to play the game = release should have been later… I mean, the game looks great, it’s fun and I love the play style, but this is really bugging me (literally :O)…

apparently Nvidia has a new graphics driver… ion smth… gonna download it and try again. btw what info do i need to post from dxdiag?

Okay,this is my Dxdiag.

I get with the newest ATI Hotfix driver constantly crashes in Brink and the FPS are still around 15-60,really choppy.

Did you take a look on the graphics in Brink?

Heck i played Crysis 2 on max settings in multiplayer.

Brink should run easily at least at steady 50 fps or something.The graphics arent that good.It’s just poor optimized as you see.Every version of the game has problems.

That link still lists r_usethreadedrenderer. Which is unsuported, and actually a cause of crashes on some systems.
