Crafting UI suggestion - display credit cost when choosing rarity

(MarsRover) #1

Notice something missing here?

Without required fragments I can’t go any further. Which means I can’t find out how much credits I need. First I need to recycle enough cards only to potentially be disappointed because it turns out I don’t have enough credits for a desired rarity.

That’s assuming that I, the player, even know that there’s ANY credit cost. First time users understandably can assume that there is no credit cost whatsoever. Heck, even the info text above the CRAFTING button says: “Create Loadout Cards from Fragments”. Nothing about credits.

Bad, bad UI

TLDR: add this info:

I concur. It’s always better to know beforehand how many credits I need. I wouldn’t have recycled a bunch of cards if I knew from the beginning the price of cards.

That is a very good point MarsRover. It feels like not enough information is being provided by the UI to allow the players to make informed decisions using this system, which can be quite upsetting to some players.

OK, with the power vested in me by 7 Agrees & 2 Likes I’d like to summon @RazielWarmonic and @stayfreshshoe and pronounce you husband… errmm no… wrong ceremony. I would like to bring this to your attention as something to tackle during the Summer Squash

That is the exact thought I’m having every time I open the crafting window !

Finally I know the credit cost for a cobalt ! Also SD give the guy a cookie and make it happen

(frostyvampire) #7

We don’t need them to display the credit cost.
We need them to completely remove the credit cost

@FrostyVampire As much as I wish, no.

But lower it? Hell yeah!

Well if people reads forums/reviews/videos they (probably) already know that they cost an arms and a leg
