Crafting Kits.

Hello. I bought 10 crafting kits today, and I can’t seem to be able to use them to craft anything.
When I select them, it tells me to select a merc, when I select one, it refers me to the card crafting screen for that merc, but I can’t click any of the silver/gold/cobalt cards, and can only click the bronze/lead and use my fragments and not the kits…
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
