Crafting a new Colbolt!

So, about to craft another Colbolt, thinking about these Mercs right now:

#1. Redeye (Most played and used)

#2. Fragger (Love me some fragger!)

#3. Stoker (Wish we won #TeamStoker)

Which do you think would be the best for a good chance at a decent Gen II Col? Really wanna do Redeye, but don’t wanna get disappointed with not getting a G75 or good D variant. :frowning:

On Fragger, only like the M4A1, on Stoker any loadout is fine as long as the perks don’t suck. Which would you choose? And which has a decent chance at getting a great loadout?

Pick Stoker
I’ve crafted 2 cobalts for Redeye and both of them dissapointed me. Don’t bother trying Fragger because you only like M4 AFAIK…
I’d suggest prioritizing weapons over perks but that’s just my opinion

So decided to take a chance on Redeye… Biggest mistake ever! P42 loadout. -_- I don’t even feel like playing now… To depressing.

Sparks’ cards are way better now. But still 383 or nothing.

I crafted 3 cobalts, 2 in 1st gen and 1 in 2nd gen. In first gen I got MO11 Vassili (best Vassili) and H11 Proxy (best 1st gen proxy) and in 2nd gen I got 383 Sparks (best Sparks). All 3 were fragment sadly but I won’t complain, I got way too lucky anyways.

I’d say you should craft a cobalt for Redeye if he’s your most played merc, but consider what other cards you have. For example: If you have the best Redeye in gold, then cobalt Redeye might not be the best option because you might get a bad card

I briefly browsed all 2nd gen loadouts yesterday and while they are better balanced, the safest bets for Cobalts IMO remain the same - Phoenix and Stoker.

Fragment is the best! Straight blue, Shard, is just boring to look at IMO

Crafted a Cobalt Thunder today and wasn’t disappointed. Got a timik with drilled and explodydendron and something else I can’t remember, very nice card in fragment.

I do prefer the Stark on him, but all of his gen2 loadouts are decent, and his nade is quite good at the moment (possibly too good, I expect a nerf in the next update tbh after the complaints will pile in)

Stoker is considered one of the most safest merc to make a card. All of his weapons and common weapons and with the 2nd gen loadouts, nothing much can go wrong with him as he does not have any major must have augments. U might wanna go for drilled.

Katana Kira for the LOLs

Good augments on the Stark and Dreiss cards with the Katana but it slows her down too much sadly.
