Oh I love tagging btw. Especially in ETQW, just sitting on the hill in Sewers and tagging opponents was just almost more lethal than firing at them. Tagging makes you feel like you’re actually playing in a team.
Covy/Sniper Discussion and Feedback
Especially if you’re rewarded (assist) when a tagged enemy is killed by someone else.

I find covy1 to be the best though. Covy2 is fun, but doesn’t really compare.

Although I tested it out with inferno it takes 2hs for a kill?

Covy 2 is completely useless, its sniper isnt as good as sniper one, purely because when AR damage and range is as it is, they are more efficient killers at range than sniper2, sniper 1 has its uses as it is 1shot headshot. But no reason to use sniper 2. Also its hipfire isnt very good so no use in close range, and its secondary isnt as good as Covy1 secondary. Added to that the throwing knife is useless.
In my opionion Covy1 is nice just needs some tweaks (sniper should zoom in and out faster), weapon switch faster etc
But Covy2 needs a complete rework. The sniper needs to be removed and replaced. I would advise a semi auto - similar to scoped ar in etqw. Would be more accurate than an AR but with less RoF. That way a silenced pistol would be ok as a secondary as you would already have a decent CC weapon. Get rid of the throwing knives, switch them to something with a bit more depth. Like a counter device, that blocked the heartbeat sensor and turned off the enemies minimap (and maybe friendly indicators). This would add alot of tactical depth to the class.
I still want to see a cov with a silenced sten, the heartbeat monitors, some of the Brink caltrops and a “play dead” ability That does recon and sneaks about, stalking the front lines.
Maybe with a bigger knife too. I’m not sure I want disguises (hence the play dead ability) but something to sneak with would be cool.

This might be due to never using zoom in etqw, but I kind of like it the way it is.
The weapon switch is pretty fast when it isnt bugged. And scoping in and out is super quick.
Cov2, I agree - might be better to give them a scoped assault, and change the tool from a throwing knife to something a bit more useful like EMP. At least something on par with radar nades.
