couldn't read .pcx error

Hello mapping types

Am attempting to compile a landscape map made from easygen but get the error message:
couldn’t read .pcx

I get the same when I try an older map that worked before

any ideas?

Hey mapping type! Did you put the pcx in the etmain folder (was it etmain? think so  )? If so, maybe deleting it and creating a new one in Easygen helps?

I had an old map that I wanted to work some more on, but it turned out that I did not take care of the old .pcx file (which resides in the etmain folder and is only required at compile time, really. You can make a new .pcx file by creating another landscape in easygen and just rename the new .pcx file you’ll get when you save that map. Still, the layout/colour scheme may not look good on the old map, which was the case in my case. Now I’m considering whether I wanna remake the whole map or not…
