Could Third Eye AKA "Not Splinter Cell Sticky Cam" make a return?

3:30 in the vid

I know it was changed to Snitch for many reasons. But I still feel a great potential in this ability.
Definitely not marking ability, this has been done to death. But maybe a distraction, or knockout gas?

I’d like it if it displayed more info than Vassili’s and Redeye’s abilities. What if the SNITCH still kept some of it’s “camera” part?

You can currently see the enemy’s health and name if you look at them for a second or shoot them. So why not make it so you can see it through walls if an enemy got spotted.

Show their name tag, their health and an icon of the merc they are instead of the debuff symbol. This info will disappear once the enemy leaves it’s LOS.
And an icon above deployables in LOS could be nice too.

Oh yeah and health stations making the debuff effect completely useless is BS, please remove that too. Either make health stations unable to remove the debuff effect, or just do something so it’s not a complete counter

Doesn’t belong in the game. There isn’t enough fog of war in DB and it’s not important enough to justify having a player go through the bother of this for what is in effect a manual (and therefore really, really awful) version of the heartbeat sensor.

There’s a reason this thing was totally redesigned.

I would like if ‘snitched’ enemies would have an outline of their merc. Let’s say like teammates in l4d through walls, so you can tell what they are exactly.

What if there was a device that could cling on to enemy, and use the enemy as bait? The video also shows the unused throwing knife, so why not use it as a decoy?

Perhaps this is the Phantom fix he should have had all this time… A throwing Kunai knife decoy. Whether it’s spreading poison or jamming deployables with EMP, so many possibilities.

As @Guziol proposed, the snitch is a camera, so it should tell which merc is spotted.

I think it’s an interesting suggestion about Aimee, though I don’t think it fits for her anymore. I don’t see her device as a camera. I think Aimee device works well as a dehabititation device imo.

Though it’d be cool for another Merc to have a camera ability that allows you and your team to see the outline of mercs and deployables in the vicinity similarly to in csgo spectator mode. Though that might be pretty strong. I’m not sure…

I don’t think there would ever be a place to go into first person in the camera just because of the pace of DB. Unless it was done like Starwars Battlefront 2 with the first/third (I don’t remember) person rocket view. But I still wouldn’t know how that would work.
