Copycat has a single device. A mobile 3D-printer.
3D-Printing Beam:
When aimed at a friendly or an enemy, the 3D printer rapidly copies the main weapon of that merc and allows Copycat to use it for a minute (then the plastic starts to wear down).
The 3D printing beam works at everything. Ordinary assault rifles, grenades, revive paddles, rhinos minigun or Kyra’s orbital laser. It also works on deployables, aimed at a healing station or a turret makes Copycat carry a duplicated deployable and employ it just like a real one.
Why does this work? Copycat’s items only last one minute so (s)he has to keep on finding new stuff to copy and use. It makes the merc incredibly reliant on whatever is on offer but it allows for a very diverse type of gameplay.
