So I’ve been grinding ranked like a lot and oh my did I take a lot of Ls in the progress. Throughout the journey there’s been a lot of BS so I thought I would list all the BS so far that had gotten me the amount of Ls I’ve received.

  • Noobs as your teammates.
  • Get placed in Bronze Master after 10 placement matches.
  • When you run towards the EV your merc teleports everywhere when its stationary and needs to be repaired or gets stuck when it moves.
  • Fletcher’s stickies not being thrown as intended and not detonating for some reason at times.
  • Vassili’s headshots not registering.
  • Proxy’s mine fucking blowing you up through a wall.
  • Stacked merc spam.
  • Aura + Rhino nests cancer.
  • Leavers.
  • Facing a 5-man-Elite-100%-accuracy-I’ll-wreck-you-instantly-team.
  • Noob team not willing to surrender so you have to waste time.
  • Miracles not existing.
  • Queue time is horrific.
  • Noob skyhammers throwing the most random airstrike position that somehow takes out your whole team.
  • Meeting your pro friend with superior aim on the enemy team and regretting not thinking about inviting him.
  • 100% tilt.
  • Getting pissed off from receiving 10 ranked points per game.
  • Needing to buy a new computer because you threw your keyboard through your monitor.
  • Waste all your money.
  • Becoming a homeless.

At the start of this ranked season, surrender was available after 3 minutes. A recent update changed this to 7 minutes.

  1. Get placed at Silver Recruit, even though you were Silver Officer last season and won 7 of the placement matches.
  2. Proceed to grind your ass off and finally reach 98.6% of Silver Officer, ready to get to Master.
  3. Have an unlucky streak of shit matches with shit teammates and Golds in the other team.
  4. Derank to Silver Specialist.
  5. Repeat steps 2-4.
  6. Repeat steps 2-4. (again)
  7. Finally reach Silver Master after 125 games.
  8. Be happy i guess.

I posted this somewhere a while ago, but a few weeks ago when they removed vote kicks from ranked, me and a few of my friends decided to queue up together. We ended up being paired against a bunch of other people we knew too, so it was shaping up to be a great match. Plenty of friends, all around the same skill level.

However, it became obvious that one of the people on the enemy team, who none of us knew, was using an extremely obvious aimbot. A few of the people on the other team tried to teamkill them to keep them down, but we eventually had an idea. If you get punished enough, you’re automatically kicked from the match. So pretty soon, my friends were just trying their best to jump into his gunfire and punish him, and it actually worked. Once we got the guy kicked, we decided to just end the match in a draw so it wouldn’t impact anyone.

Schit… is this real? I mean, I know I rage about DPC stacking (will celebrate 1 year anniversary on 27 July 2017), but did you really bash your keyboard through your monitor, waste money and became homeless because of DB?

lol, the game places almost everyone in silver 3 (specialist) if you get placed in bronze 1 you’re doing something wrong.

I had a friend who played Dirty Bomb for a little while called Aph, who put his fist through his brand new 144hz screen while playing a game of Quake Live a few years back lol. $420 NZD or something, and he only had it two weeks :stuck_out_tongue:

Last season i played ranked primarily and stayed away from non ranked game. This season ive played 1/4 the amount ranked i played before. Tired of mostly loosing.

My team had 2 people who left because we got the second objective done a minute later than the other team. On an unrelated note thats the same game where my laser killed everyone on the enemy team… too bad that my team were all dead, including me right before that.

I’ve won matches with one or 1 or 2 players short its rare like worse than colbalt rng rare but its happened
