Contracts frustration

Since the start of the game there were like 3 or 4 changes to the now so called “contracts” and the current one is by far the worst in my opinion.

The three contracts to fullfill the contracts completion bonus are always like overall xp, combat/support/object xp and time playing.

So no matter which contracts you have for the first two subdivisions, if you are an experienced player, most of the time to fullfill them it takes one long stopwatch game (means between 20-30 mins).

So I finish the first two contracts within the first ~20 minutes. Then the only contract left is the one about just spending time in matches and this means to fullfill all contracts and getting the bonus I have to play up to 80 minutes without any progression except the time contract filling up slowely. So I feel like I could have finished all contracts within 20 minutes but now I always stuck with the time contract cause you can play as good as you want, it won’t help you speeding up the progression.

Today the situation was like forcing myself to play those 100 minutes to get the bonus, so it was 80 minutes just bored playing…then you finally finish and get a new set of contracts and what happens? Another 100 boring minutes to play. And for the third time? Again 100 Minutes to play…so in order to gain another 1500 Credits from the bonus I have to play 300 minutes, while I fullfill all other contracts in about 60 minutes…

Somehow this doesn’t fit together in my opinion. Of course you don’t want the players to gain lots of credits every 20 Minutes but I thought, this is what the token limit is ment to be for?

Like it is now I always feel a little bit fooled having to play 100 minutes no matter how my playstyle or teamwork is. This feels all but satisfying to me.

Am I the only one experiencing it like this?

I agree that I’d rather they scales linearly rather than exponentially, so it always feels like you’re making good progress.

But the 100 minutes one is not boring for me, if anything it’s my favourite 1000CR contract because it’s not forcing me to play a role (like the 21k Support ones does), I just ignore it and enjoy playing the game, by the time I look at it again at the end of my gaming session it’s finished.

Overall they’re not ideal, but way better than the old missions, I play (and enjoy) the game loads more now.

So why you feel forced to Play 100 Minutes in 1 Session when there is no Timer pushing you?
Play 100 Minutes in 2 Day, 2 Weeks, 2 Years or 2 Lifetimes.

I really don’t get why People feel pushed to play all their Contracts in 1 Session or 1 Match? also do People just play for the Ccontracts? If yes, then thats why they are a bit harder to finish than the Missions were.

I feel a bit forced to fullfill the contracts as fast as I can cause atm I’m still enjoying the game like from the beginning when I stared years ago, but there is no good reason for me to spend my credits or fragments. So the only achievement for me besides just having fun while playing is to save as much credits as I can and wait for some cool stuff to spend it on in the future.
So while I play, I want to max my credit outcome and when you feel, like you have a day off and you want to play as much as you can and gain credits as much as you can (since for the rest of the week my tokens filled up to 5/5), it’s frustrating to gain only 2500-3000 credits per 100 minutes through those contracts, while you feel you could earn credits much faster by the speed you fullfill the first two contracts.

@Mustang, I have to admit, that it’s also not perfect for those other contracts to be forced to play one role, e.g. supporter, eventhough you don’t like it that much…but at least this is done fast for me and doesn’t always takes 100 minutes.

I don’t have the perfect solution but I hope, they will still find a way to improve the actual system so it’s more fun again.

It might look slower on paper but we did the maths, remember they upped the base credit earn rate as well, and if you don’t play a lot, but can squeeze in a solid 50-100min per day, or you play a lot and it’s more like a solid 5-6hr per day, then you actually earn more than you used to.

The only times it works out worse in terms of earn rate is if you play stupids amounts of time, like 7+hr per day for multiple days in a row, then you run out of contracts, but I guess this is why they let you buy more with RADs. Or you used to “game” the old system by playing 30min, doing nothing for 2.5hrs, then playing another 30min, rinse and repeat 3+ times, which is not conducive of a healthy playerbase, so it seems fine to me they wanted to get rid of this mentality and allow people to play for as long as they are able or want to instead.
