Container City Phase 1 Spawn Time Change

Please correct me if I’m wrong (and I’ll delete this thread if I am), but it seems that the initial phase 1 spawn timer for Resistance has changed from 20secs to 30secs. I found that phase much more engaging, and my life as a Resistance fighter much more precious rather than just run and gun, spawn then go at it again. Any views on the spawn change and the difference in play on the map in general? I can see it being much more Stopwatch friendly now.

Didn’t get the chance to play that one tonight but if they have it will probably sort out most of the issues with that base. Does it change back to 20 after the gate is done?

That would explain why my team could do the first objective three out of three times there tonight and no spawn-rape at all. But maybe we just had fair opponents for a change :slight_smile:

Well the two times I played it tonight my team got spawn rapped on it again :frowning: , really starting to turn in to a map I hate.

I noted elsewhere that hack objectives are much quicker. Still dislike how fast they are disarmed but w/e.

I don’t know that it was every 20/20???.. but the defense for sure had a 30 second spawn on the first objective the last 2 or 3 times I pubbed ccity.

Not that it mattered one single bit, my pub team still spawn camped them then entire map. I can’t remember playing ccity and letting them out of their spawn!

Once the first few offensive spawn waves get wiped out, it doesn’t matter what the defense spawn time is. 8 guys buffing each other standing outside the spawn and they will never die.

There needs to be another route out of the offensive spawn. Besides that, instant respawns for the offense until the bot reaches the crane is the only hope. Maybe SD could at least move those useless base defense turrets forward some? I dunno, broken map IMHO.

D times for every map/stage should be 30s :>

I thought I noticed they take longer to remove as well but I’m not 100% sure.

Just had a game on ccity, and like BMXer said - it didnt make a difference.

I’ll need to have a few more games today to see, I was slightly under the influence last night :S
