constructible mover health

Hello mapping types

Can someone plz let me know how to set the health of my mover to 0. When the mover spawns in the game it is supposed to be broken and in need of repair, which it is - thing is, the ‘health bar’ is topped up! How do I get it to 0?!

I have no idea how to do that the correct way, but maybe you can place an explosion close to the script_mover. And let the explosion go off 1 second after game start. That would crasch the script_mover down to health 0? Didn’t Drakir do something like that on his Navarone map? He crasched the MG42s that way (I think). The .map-file and .script-file for Navarone is available at Drakir’s site www.drakir.tk if you want to check out the MG42s.

I remember doing this for v2_factory. It was tricky…

You need to kill the script_mover in the spawn script of the func_constructible that repairs the script_mover. You might have to play with the wait commands to get it to work correctly. Check the v2_factory script file for truck and truck_construct

ok…drakirs method works
use a trigger_always with a target key “bomb” - eg
use a target_effect with a targetname “bomb”, a dmg setting 2000 - eg and tick spawnflag tnt.
