Constant "authentication_failure" upon trying to log into the game

Just like the title says, it just constantly pops up, even after

  1. verifying the game cache (several times)
  2. reinstalling (several times)
  3. waiting for the connectivity issues to be fixed (in case they were at fault)
    and im kind of starting to run out of options here…

I was just going to try dirty bomb on steam after not playing it for a while. I’m getting the same error as you.
