How are some people that don’t have the DLC going to be matched up with people who do have it?
We see this all the time with games now a days. DLC can ruin online multiplayer if the matchmaking is not correct.
Will people be KICKED out of the game if they don’t have new maps during loading?
No it is not…In Call of Duty and Battlefield you are NEVER matched up with people that don’t have the same maps that you have. So no one ever gets kicked.

The way Brink is set-up with drop in and out play, the new maps won’t affect much, because when the room switches to the new map, those who don’t have it will be put in to their own room. Kinda like putting that kid nobody likes in the corner. Nah, just kidding about that part. No, it won’t affect much mainly because of the drop in and out play feature of Brink. You will always have people to play with on the old maps! And when those who have just played a new map switch back into an old map, others can drop right in if there is room. Make sense? 
Yes it just seems like just another way to split the community up even more though.
