After playing quite alot with Thunder he is really good imo, but there are occasions where you throw the grenade right to enemys face and it doesnt flash them, often see this happen in Trainyard the at the first point when the rails on the ground block the whole flash effect.
Also health stations seem to be concussion grenade eaters if you throw it right next to it, it absorbs the flash effect and nobody gets affected.

Thunder’s Concussion Grenade can seemingly be blocked by a speck of dust that’s floating around. The health station issue is the same with Fragger’s grenades, they often absorb all the damage.

Yes, this seems to be an issue with all explosives since an update a while ago, small pieces of geometry can completely block explosions. It’s not just thunder.

My favorite is when you toss a fragger nade right in the middle of a group and only one person dies despite everyone being in close proximity to it :'D
