You don’t need Gold for patches (title updates).
Concerned with PSN Outage?
Console wars are for kiddies.
The two consoles are basically the same except one set of us pay to be online and like little characters that we want to look like and the other set enjoy free gaming with the high risk of a hacker stealing all our details… I would say the scale is pretty balanced.

…Well we can say something similar but not drastic did happen to 360, don’t you recall the good days where hackers were acting like gangsters on the corner of block your walking on. Once they see you and you do something they don’t like you pretty much screwed. Plus the online was pretty bad reminding me the PSP multiplayer or going against the legendary commando blade from COD. But yea Sony should have been smart and when they saw Microsoft getting problems with hackers they should have upped there security but sadly supposedly they had there servers on a outdated version with no firewalls according to some experts handling on the Sony case. But hey nothing is safe from hackers, once you have a dedicated group with alot of skills, anything can happen.
I know right. Love to watch Blu Rays on the 360, with 1080p. Oh what is that…they dont have Blu Ray HD movies, oh they barely do 1080P. Damn that sucks.
Guess the 360 owners forget when Live went down over Christmas a few years ago. Oh and you paid for that crap and it still went down.
But all in all, just glad when they get this figured out and back online so we can get back to shooting people in the face.
I am also buying Brink for the PS3. I have a good feeling PSN will not be up by then…and it will kill Brink for PS3. :(
I think it will be back up, by next week monday in the uk.
I really couldnt care less about my personal info being stolen 77 million accounts… i will take my chances. I also feel its naive to think this hasnt happened elsewhere and just been kept under wraps (or the company just still have no idea they have even been hacked).
