Seriously. They made the effort to talk about their customization options, the put out the numbers with millions of combinations of what you could do, but once you get in the game it’s LITERALLY just a few preset guys that let you mis and match parts. That’s HARLDY the customization that we were promised. Why can’t i edit colors? Why are certain options permantent? Why can’t we change the paint jobs on our guns?
For what they were advertising, this game really came up lacking.
A color palette option would have gone a loooong way. A ton of variety if we could just have access to a color palette for each piece of apparel.
I remember Armored Core on the first playstation had more customization options. This is a completely different game but it had no online multiplayer so the large variety and lengthy set of customization options was really overkill. I remember spending hours in the shop customizing my mech. I wouldn’t want to change anything just because of how involved it could get.
I was almost afraid BRINK’s customization was going to be similar. But I was welcoming it. With all the numbers they were throwing out, as mentioned above, I was shocked at how the customization was handled. And lets not get started on how ham-stringed and limited the Security Forces options are…
This could be easily fixed. Plus regular content updates could change everything.
