[COMPLETE] SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE - AUGUST 19TH, 2015

Dirty Bomb will be in maintenance at 16:00 UTC on August 19th, 2015, in order to perform a game update. The maintenance is expected to last 3 hours. There will be a client and server update, but there should be minimal server downtime.

When:
London (BST, UTC +1:00): 17:00 - 20:00
Los Angeles (PDT, UTC -7:00): 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Sydney (AEST, UTC +10:00): 2:00 AM - 5:00 AM, August 20th

What:
Dirty Bomb servers and client will be updated with a game update.
There should be minimal server downtime.

I would love to see some patch notes before the actual update for once. @MissMurder could this be possible?

I’m guessing melee tweaks will be the main thing, seems as if thats whats been talked about the most since it was tweaked a little too much. Maybe some weapon tweaks as well, augment tweaks are a must too. If a specific merc gets a considerable buff it might indicate who the next merc maybe, after all it would make sense making sure the new mercs counter-merc will be strong enough. I reckon it will be Phoenix though, then turtle. Stoker will be last because i’m sure I seen a dev say that all the mercs from the ‘scrubs’ trailer will be introduced before any of the others, that leave phoenix and turtle.

EDIT: Miss Murder commented on my post about reporting hackers and she said something alon the lines of, ‘reporting from the menu will be here soon and a new anti-cheat even sooner’. So you never know maybe they have something up their sleeves.

I know that at least RedEyes IR bug will be fixed. Maybe the missions too? I doubt they would have left the secondary mission being completed by riding elevators as a valid option.

Now if we’re talking wishes: I’d love to see an in-game reporting system. And a team balancing system for when numbers are uneven, like longer limbo state or bonus credits for switching, etc. And in the range of highly improbable wishes: rhino and nader nerf. (I’ll always want to see those)

Yeah I never really noticed Redeyes IR bug but I have seen videos about it and I agree it needs to be fixed. The missions need another look at also, like you mentioned. I would like to see them remove the mission for comp game because I can’t force myself to play it for a 1000 credits when the balance and cheater situation is as bad as it is now but if a new anti-cheat is indeed coming today then maybe that will change. What would you nerf with Rhino and Nader? I think they are well balanced tbh, maybe rhinos minigun needs a slight damage reduction at medium range but thats all I can think of.

I will always have the opinion that Nader and Rhino have a skill level requirement that is too low. I think that Rhino is still too fast considering his high damage output and resistance. With a good medic by his side it’s a merc that totally shifts the outcome of a game and kills are way to easy to get. And Nader’s grenades are just spray and pray, they definitely need a higher cool down and they can’t work on a best out of two worlds fashion: right now on distance they explode when hitting a merc but ricochet of walls. They should either ricochet every time or always explode on impact.

You mention about a good medic making rhino unbeatable, surely thats more of a reason to tweak the medic class? At the end of the day you can’t balance teamwork, a good medic will stick close to the heavier hitting classes E.G fragger, nader and rhino. With Nader though you do make a point, I play her pretty religiously and always try and get a direct hit with the MGL because the damage potential is insane but I will bounce them off a wall if I know there is a healing station or a rhino around a corner waiting for me. If you were to nerf rhino I think the only fair thing would be his medium range damage with the minigun, as of now you can do insanely well at medium range if you tap fire and crouch, at least this is what I have found. With nader it would have to be cool down tweaking but because you get a cooldown for every nade its already pretty long to get the full compliment of nades back so it will be difficult to get the cool down times right.

could you please add european time ? because london time and other time zones are different and I realy dont want to google for UTC+1 london time and then to european time. same in game please. thank you
