Compiling...?

Check “Monitor q3map2 output” and use the default IP and port.

Shader, we r trying to work with Q3map2build here… it has logfiles automatically, if you do it right.

Kern, can you plz google yourself a tutorial on Q3map2build… I know the readme that ships with q3map2build is sufficient only without pics, so maybe another tutorial might help.

Ok, thanks for your help so far!

Sorry I came back, but no tutorial has helped me… When I try to look at my logfile, it says nothing. Then, when I try again the logging info box says “no valid port found.” How do you fix this?

Hello?

Heres a link to mybuild options file.

Backup yours then put it in the same directory as the .exe
You might have to change the paths (see Directory Options), but those settings should work (if they load :/).

(q3map2build v1.00.0025)

Can anyone help me on the port problem?

Are you still trying to get q3map2build to work?

My suggestion would be to get compile to work through the GTKRadiant BSP menu.
If you are more advanced you can try to use external tools.

So for a first compile just select “single BSP -meta” out of the BSP menu (GTKRadiant V 1.4.0).
