compiling under Win7

hey everyone,

I have already figured to change the load/save dialog of GTK Radiant on Windows 7 to make it work. But now I face the next problem. I am using Q3map2Gui and q3map2 2.5.16 to compile my maps. Testcompiling the BSP stage works fine and also the LIGHT stage “seems” to compile fine. But it turns out no lightmaps are created/saved where they should be (maps/MAPNAME) and all my maps happen to be simply black. As this is not only the case at my newest map but also all old projects I have I’m quite certain it has to do with my program setup or even more realistical with Windows 7. I’m running q3map2 in compatibility mode to get it to run and also assigned administrator privileges.

Anyone got an idea or other programs I could try to make my compile work again?

Edit: It works now, dont really know what changed but well…

I have Win7 and Radiant BUT I was must make Dual-Boot - instal to my notebook Windows7 and Win Xp. In this time is campatible with all versions of Radiant ONLY Win XP. Bad, but true :frowning: Try mapping again under windows XP and all will be OK :slight_smile:
