Every day I login and play for a while - primarily due to the missions. I enjoy this game thoroughly but it is the missions that keep me coming back. This is why whenever I get a mission for competitive mode, I get very, very angry. I’ve tried getting into competitive mode before… I once let it ‘search’ for a match for over 30mins… it just never gets in. It might be because I’m in Australia and my connection isn’t great… but regardless of the reason, soon as I get a mission for competitive mode, I delete it right away, and then I’m down a mission…
I think you should be able to change a mission. I understand they are different values and people might simply use this mechanic to get a higher value one - so maybe cap it? You can only change the mission 3 times in one cycle, and maybe only one or two missions can be changed. Maybe allow for a complete re-roll of missions. I don’t think it would be a big problem anyway as the higher value ones are more difficult and take longer to complete. I just get frustrated beyond belief when I get a mission I cannot possibly complete. To a lesser extent this is also frustrating when I must complete an Objective or Stopwatch match and there are no servers available in Australia… non-Australian servers add 200ms MINIMUM to your ping and it doesnt take much more than that to start making it unplayable.
